Proving Ground By Digital Depths

Proving Grounds is a school project designed to show our team's skills at designing a video game from scratch. The game itself has the player play as a young dragon taking a test to prove their maturity. There are three levels each with their own unique challenges which can be done in any order. One of the levels has the player fight metamorphic golems, creatures conjured from the volcano in the background. The player must use their fire breath to destroy their enemies and claim victory. Then there is the dexterity level where the player must utilize their gliding to platform across an obstacle course. Using their breath on the rings ignites them allowing the player to score extra points. Lastly the puzzle level sees the player pushing blocks and igniting torches in a certain way in order to use their mind. With all of these complete the player is congratulated as they have passed their test.
